“I booked two nights at this property - before and after Machu Picchu. I just left my big luggage at the property so I can just pack a light bag for a few days. They even let me keep the keys for a few days so I could come back to the casa late at night after Machu Picchu for my second night. It's a bit of a hike up or just a cheap taxi ride up the mountain to this property but it's worth it - it's very close to a viewpoint of Cuzco. Staff was friendly, bedding was plush and comfy, breakfast was simple but appreciated.”

“The staff here were lovely. They were always willing to accomodate us. They held our luggage at the property while we went for treks. Very secure. The wifi was generally very good. Better than some other places in Cusco. The breakfast was fine. Bread, jam, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice etc. The rooms were large, and beds really comfy with plenty of blankets and doonas, and heaters for no extra charge. Very cosy and comfortable place to stay. Location is excellent in San Blas. Really not far from the square, maybe 8 min walk. And plenty of restaurants, cafes and markets nearby.”

“-super comfortable, warm beds-good view over the city-owner was really nice”

“A great family run/owned hotel all very nice people. Denis was very helpful as I was there during some strikes with roads blockaded.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. Feels like staying at a home away from home.”

“Louis the owner is a real gentleman and a great professional.”

“I liked having a private bath with regular hot water (including the sink, which is rare). I also liked that they included a portable heater in the room.”

, Peru

“Dennis and Freddy were kind, courteous and helpful. Great quality mattresses, feather pillows, clean rooms. Bathroom in our room was tiny and rustic, but the water was hot and the bathroom was bleachy clean. This is a rustic facility; however, I'm a germaphobe snob, if I returned to Cusco I would stay here again. Freddy also took us to the train station, was there to collect us again that night. His fee was reasonable and he drove like a gentleman.”

“Good rooms with comfortable beds and duvets. It's in a quiet area in San Blas. Helpful, friendly family. I was allowed to check out late on day of departure.”

“The staff here are amazingly friendly and welcoming! They really make you feel at home and they allow early and late check in/ check out which is super kind and helpful When you arrive on a bus at 5am. I got really sick while there and they were so lovely to me and helped arrange doctors etc.”
