“Great location next to the cathedral. Very atmospheric with old world charm. We also got to experience the local university students commencement ceremonies and concert in local piazza. Find the free funicular on the other side of the cathedral .”
“Very clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Good location. We took advantage of the secure parking which was a little way away from the hotel but works very well. (plenty of space around the hotel to drop off cases first) Breakfast was fresh and plentiful but in common with the other hotels we visited in Portugal it did not cater well for gluten free diets despite a request being sent when booking. Viseu is a lovely town and the hotel is completely in keeping with its surroundings with several good restaurants very close by. Friendly and helpful staff.”
“The way the hotel and rooms were decorated was spectacular and the beds very comfortable. The robes and jetted tub were a bonus. It is quiet and spotless. Wifi did not work well in our room but there are other areas to sit. The location is ideal. They have an unloading zone you may park in for 30 minutes before moving.”
“The Casa de Se is located near the old cathedral and has been witness to much of the Viseu history. It was easy to get to, parking near the cathedral was just a short walk away with a 4hour time meter that had to be fed every 4 hours from 8 am until midnight. But it wasn't that much of a problem as we stayed in that area for all of our stay. The breakfast was very nice. There is a gorgeous view from the upstairs common room.”

“A charming small hotel ( about 10 rooms) with a really splendid location, right on the main square in the old town. Our room (101!) had that view from no less than 4 windows. It was also huge and full of antiques ( for sale if you like) . Comfortable bed . Breakfast was good with local cheeses and at least 4 cakes every day. Surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Recommended for two nights .”
