“The staff was absolutely great! We loved all of our interactions with them, and we found them all so friendly, fun to talk to and helpful! We enjoyed Jorgensen's Kitchen and Bar very much, too!! The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent. Try the Christmas Sour if it is available. Yum!!”
“It was fine, on arriving the desk clerk told us it was the happy hour until 6 and to make the most of it, she also gave us a 10% discount card. Oh yes it was, the only thing on reduction was the house wine and the beer at about 3/4 of the price. My husband and I ordered a cocktail each for 4,400 krn about £33 and we were told the happy hour doesn't apply to them. Also when we came to pay the bill the 10% discount only applies to food. What a rip off!”

“The reception staffs were all friendly and super helpful on tour information! We didn't ask for house keeping but they provided fresh and clean towel sets in the laundry bag daily, so sweet. The breakfast was in a small selection but it's pretty much good enough for everything we need. 2 quilts on the double bed! The heater functioned well, so did the hot water and water pressure.”

“The staff are extremely helpful and very informative. They could provide you information you need to get around the city as well as inexpensive ways to go to airport especially after 8.00pm. I thought I would need to go there by taxi since my day tour was longer than 10 hours! but he suggested me to order airport transfer. The hotel located in good location as it is close to bus stop no. 10 where most tour bus could pick you up and drop you off from there (apart from the fact that center hotel midgardur is one of the pick up places for most of the tours available. Not to mention that it is located near many good restaurants like Noodle Station. I love the bath tub and the bed in my room so much. After long days of traveling, these are 2 major things that I looking forward to relax and rest. I would definitely book this hotel again and again whenever I go to Reykjavik. Hey how cool is that when you say, you're staying at Midgard!”
