“The location is fabulous, within easy reach of St Marks but with a serene feeling that you are somewhere far away from the bustle.”
“Located at a beautiful island, very good room and helpful staff. ”
“The most depressing place I have ever stayed. It wasn't a hotel. It was like a sanctuary for mentally ill people. The breakfast was boring, reminded me of my uni days. Staff were lazy and not caring. I had to walk long way 5 min from the reception to my room through the garden in the dark with my suitcases and they didn't help or accompany me to show the way, i had to find the way to my room myself among several building around. No shops or restaurants around so at night if u need a glass of hot water impossible u get cuz the hotel is an island and nothing is there , transport at nite is one every hour. The other guests were all old and academic, I thought they had been sent there by their work, they didn't look they were on holiday. It was more like a university campus rather than a hotel.”
“It is very neat. Breakfast was good Rooms were very comfortable”
“Honestly everything is so perfect! The hotel is in a beautiful private island with super convient water bus transportation directly to Plazza Marco Polo!If you just arrive in Venice airport there is direct water bus to Plazza Marco Polo and from there change to No.20 to this hotel!”
“The staff were very friendly. The distance and ease of getting to and from Zaccarato (sp?).”
“The hotel is in San Servolo island, you should take water bus from Venezia to it, but the traffic is very easy. Living in a small island is really an interesting experience!”
“If you are on a serious budget like we were this place can be great. But 5 stars it is not. It is more of less like staying on a college campus (I think it IS a college campus), in dorms. It's not fancy. Rooms are small. Breakfast is super basic, but there's a free shuttle to take you back and fourth between Lido and San Marco til about 1am or so, after that you're on your way with a private taxi which can be super expensive. I'm not sure I'd stay here again, but I wasn't mad at it either.”
“The rooms are in a beautiful park. Il is very calm and the place has a history. The rooms are very clean. Beds are very comfortable San Servelo is 5mn from venise by vaporetto (1 Stop)”
“Very peaceful after a busy and crowded day in Venice. Just a ten minute boat ride away.”
