“Couple who own the place don't speak any English - which in itself was very nice, having to rack brains for what little gcse French I could remember. For instances where that didn't suffice, they had two members of staff that spoke good English and were able to translate. Very good location - 2 min walk from telecabine up to bettex. We used the ski lockers at the telecabine for storing our gear. Very nice bakery down the hill from chalet near telecabine. 10 min walk into town - very scenic. The hotel itself is more hostel like - cheap and cheerful. Perfect if you want no thrills attached skiing.”
“They are very friend family. They love what they do, so the reception was very close and warm. They care about us and our family. It is a simples hotel but very nice people. And it was not so far from Chamonix (we went by car). They are a lovely couple.”
“If the terrace was tidied up it would be a great spot to sit as the location for mountain views amazing! Family room was fine; two rooms and one with bunk beds and clean. Good stop off for Mont Blanc tunnel. 15 min walk into town for restaurants & bars.”
“The manger was very helpful, he booked our taxi for us and allowed us to keep our bags in the hotel on our final day of skiing. The location was very close to both town and the gondola for the ski slopes, and overall this hotel was very good value for money.”
