“Even though it's 60 miles from Fairbanks getting here was pretty easy by car. The road is good and fast. The setting is unique, with an icebar/museum, a large hot spring pool, and lots of rustic and rusting machinery around. We came to see the aurora in late September, away from city lights, and got lucky and saw an exceptional one on the night that the clouds were gone.”
