“This place is in a league of its own. One of the most impressive facilities I have encountered in China. It is a giant museum full of art with impressive decor. There are excellent restaurants. The breakfast is superb, and it is included without extra price. The staff go out of their way to be helpful. The Twin Pagoda Park is right next door. There is a good-sized bath tub AND a shower. The hygiene articles in the bathroom are wonderful.”
“Service was excellent. Some of the staff spoke English well & all appeared to have been trained properly in service standards. Room very clean & comfortable, food at the restaurant was great and very reasonably priced (cheap by Beijing standards, for a 4* hotel). Lovely collection of antique style clocks! Parking is great, under the hotel, a little tight though. Staff packed us some breakfast packs as we left super early on Monday to make it to Beijing in time for work. All in all a great place to stay.”
“All staff we met are friendly and service minded. The room is clean, spacious with effective air-condition that can easily be adjusted. The furnishing is very stylish with old Chinese style. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good with lots of Chinese foods, but limited bread or other foods for western guests. This is quite OK, as most guests are Chinese. It is very quiet during the night, good for sleep.”
