“hotel was exactly what we wanted: easy to find once we'd got off the plane (it was probably 10-15 mins from the airport so perfect for my 1st stint at driving on the wrong side of the road), hotel was clean, comfy & great value. lady owner was superb! her English standard was similar to my French so between us, we got on fine. she gave us a local map & directed us into the old part of Rennes for dinner (10ish minute drive) as we arrived on a Saturday afternoon it was pretty quiet on the roads & we weren't disturbed by the traffic (even with windows open) breakfast was lovely - very French: fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, meat & cheese, free flow tea/coffee, juice. great value.”
