“I was very welcome at Reception when I arrived on Thursday 30 March. Provided with local rail and bus ticket was an unexpected bonus, as well as details on Black Forest trips.. Room on 1st Floor was actually two twin beds pushed together rather than a real single. Great bathroom including easy to use shower. Breakfast ok - not as many choices as some but plenty to help yourself to and a good selection of herbal teas. Breakfast room may get busy at times but works fine if willing to share tables. Walking distance to rail station and town centre. For those on business it is easy enough to get to Freiburg Messe (Expo Hall) - which is good news for the runners of the Freiburg marathon weekend too. A very pleasant stay and certainly suited my requirements plus more.”
