“I had a bad experience with a taxi driver who cheated us with the taxi meters when we went to the hotel from Taksim's airport shuttle bus stop. Even the driver didn't want to drop us in front of the hotel, that I think he was afraid to get attention from the hotel staffs. It really spoiled our mood, but you know what? When we arrived at Clarion hotel, the receptionist said to us that there was an empty suite room, so he gave the room instead of giving a standard room to us. What a surprise! Overall we liked everything: good location with easy access to Eminonu and Taksim using the public bus, healthy breakfast, and of course the room.”
