“The club house hotel was amazing! The staff were so friendly, we had an early flight to catch and they even made us our own full breakfast at 6AM. I have never had such a great experience with hotel staff.”
“The served cooked breakfast - no bain marie for us; the feeling of being at ease and at home, nobody made a fuss but they looked after us great. The craic in the bar and that way everyone knew everyone, or someone you knew from somewhere. Sunday we sat in the lounge and everyone got involved in cheering and singing for the the lady whose 80th birthday party it was; good old down the country fun and welcoming.”

The receptionists were both excellent and we have appreciated the free and comfortable car parking. The bedroom was clean with all the facilities and spacious. Very well located in the city centre.”
“This hotel is ideally located and a short walk to all the city attractions. It is filled with old world charm, great authentic bar and very comfortable bed. The room itself was cosy and warm, looks like new windows were installed. The bathroom could do with updating but overall I was very happy. Bar staff very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the full Irish breakfast on Sunday morning. I would stay here again without a doubt.”

“Fabulous central location. Kilkenny city is beautiful to walk around - lots and lots to see. Handy car parking to rear. Fabulous old building. Breakfast dining room was beautiful. Bed was comfy and lots of pillows available. Room was large. Staff friendly and helpful.”
