“The staff, as you would expect for a family owned business, were extremely helpful. The location is good, right next to the bus stops and ideally located for the train station and the lake. “The location is perfect. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, and directly across from rental car companies. We arrived by train, and rented a car the following day to drive the amazing mountain passes in Switzerland. The hotel is also a 2 minute walk down to the lake and Piazzas with wonderful restaurants. Lugano became our favorite city in Switzerland. Pillows and bed were comfortable, and air conditioning was greatly appreciated😊”
“It is a good location -- easy walking distance to City Center, Lake Lugano and LAC. Even hiked to the top of San Sal by foot from the door of the hotel. Great view of the lake from our room and much more quiet than being in the center of Lugano. The staff at Hotel Colorado are absolutely wonderful. Very accommodating and always pleasant!! The restaurant is delicious and on this trip, they helped us arrange a delightful prix fixe dinner for a large group celebration with little notice.”
“They included an all inclusive bus pass which was an enormous help. Even half off of the funicular up San Sal. The food was TO DIE FOR!!! The staff was wonderful. I love this place.”
