“There was no mention of tea/coffee making, so a lovely surprise to find that in the room. We arrived in a heatwave and found a nice large fan which was on all of our one night stay. It's a good basic room with everything you need, for the money excellent value. We had our best meal nearby in almost a month, Chez Baptiste, turn left out of hotel left again at bottom of road on right.”
“We have always found the Cecil to be very welcoming. We like this hotel because it's an easy day's drive from the ferry at Calais, & because there was a lovely restaurant next door. Sadly the restaurant was closed this time, but the concierge gave us another recommendation which was almost as close by & also very good”
