“We had a large room overlooking the pool and had the sea in the distance. the pool was a a good size. The room had full Sky Tv which was a bonus. I would stay here again. There is a restaurant and bar which looked OK but we didn't use them.”

“The hotel has obviously undergone a major upgrade from the last time I saw it many years ago. Our room was large and airy, and had a small balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was beautifully comfy and the bathroom was well proportioned. The dining room looked to be really nice, however we had already made arrangements for dinner and left before having a breakfast there. That was due to previous commitments, and not that we were trying to avoid the restaurant. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to other travellers.”

“Once again we had a most enjoyable stay at this very good hotel. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable bed, good size bathroom, with a bath. There is a small balcony with a view. The area is peaceful and quiet with walks nearby, it is reasonably close to the city centre and is at the gateway to the beautiful Whangarei Heads. It has a lovely tastefully decorated restaurant with very good food at a reasonable price. The owner and staff are friendly, professional and helpful.”
