“Brilliant location on an elegant road overlooking a mature park and just a couple of minutes walk to the town centre. You can generally park on the street outside for up to 3 hours, if you arrive in the afternoon - the charges don't kick in until after siesta time about 3.30pm and then again start at 10 am so if you're on the ball, no need to park elsewhere. A beautiful family-run hotel, our room was very quiet and well equipped with a window that opened - not always a given. We ate two evenings at the restaurant. The chef is brilliant and you get a real taste of local spanish food, quite sophisticated, superb lamb chops, spicy chick pea starter. Menu isn't available in English but the waitress/proprietor talked us through it all no problem.”

“Old building in central location right next beautiful park and Castille. Staff couldn't have been nicer! Lift in the building made travel to 2nd floor easy. Room large, clean and comfortable. Very pet friendly, location excellent for walks and even given hotel doggy feeding bowl. Excellent stay. Restaurant closed on Monday so can't comment on food.”

Staff were very accommodating and helpful given our delay, they kept in touch with our late arrival arrangements and made us feel relaxed and welcome when we eventually arrived. Definitely a pet friendly hotel - so good to have a mat with a water/food bowl in the room (first time we've ever had that level of service for our dog). Pleasant breakfast in a good setting - traditional Spanish hotel!”
