“The rooms are HUGE and even though it is an older hotel overall, it is well maintained. There is a simple, but very nice continental breakfast and a warm pool and hot tub. This whole area is expensive and it was on the lesser expensive side of the choices. The staff was super sweet and helpful.”

“Location was great. Quiet, surrounded by hilly landscapes. Bedroom was spacious and clean. Pool was a bonus and well kept. This was our 14-year old son's favourite hotel during our Californian trip. Breakfast was basic, waffle machine fun to use (but eh nothing beats home-made obes😏). Walking distance to what was to become our best meal during our stay in the US at the Running Iron (country-western eatery where we had 3 differently-cooked steaks: ALL 3 divine!”
“We loved staying in Carmel Valley at the Contenta Inn. The scenery was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed swimming in the pool. It was very clean and refreshing. We also loved their breakfast. Complete with a waffle maker! Would love to come back to the Contenta.”
