“The view of the valley and beyond from our guest room was spectacular and the grounds are lovely to wander around. We loved the history of the building and the blend of old and new in furnishings and decor. The staff were very friendly and were able to give us good tips about restaurants and places to visit.”
“We were looking for inexpensive stay close to Gran Sasso. But I have to say it is one of the most unique, beautiful and outstanding hotels I have visited. This is former Convent-with beautiful church in it. The rooms were clean, simple and cosy. There were comfortable bed, TV and bathroom with bath and shower, where we found eco hand-made soaps and shower-gel.The staff were extremely friendly, polite and attentive. The food we had in the restaurant was beautiful - well presented and reasonably priced. Breakfast was included in our stay and it didn't disappoint.The views are breathtakingly beautiful. When you arrive to the village-just drive 3 km out of the village and you will see sign to the hotel. You can purchase nice hand -made Eco gifts from the hotel shop-soaps, oils, shower gels, cookies etc... Location is perfect for hikers-close to Gran Sasso and many other hiking routes. ”

“The place was an absolutely fantastic old convent that has been refurbished and turned into a BnB. The food at the restaurant was great and the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. One of the staff members spent a good part of the evening with us telling us about the history of the place. They were very friendly and also upgraded us to the suite free of charge since it was vacant. Highly recommend, one of the best BnBs I've stayed at.”

“La struttura è di gran fascino, una dimora storica, un ex convento, immersa nella natura del parco del Gran Sasso. Vanta inoltre un curato orto botanico, visitabile liberamente dagli ospiti. La nostra stanza era molto spaziosa, ben calda ed accogliente, il bagno pulito e fornito di saponi naturali, da noi molto graditi. Buona la colazione, dolce e salata. Personale molto cortese. Ampio parcheggio. Posizione molto comoda per visitare i borghi vicini di Rocca Calascio e Santo Stefano di Sessanio.”

“Location straordinaria, personale gentile e pieno di entusiasmo. La struttura ospita,separatamente, il centro botanico del Parco Gransasso, monti della Laga. Ciò implica la presenza di un orto botanico ( accessibile ) che arricchisce in bellezza e interesse la bellissima struttura. Il mio soggiorno è stato motivato dalla partecipazione ad un corso di due giorni sulle erbe spontanee commestibili. Ci hanno spiegato le erbe, insieme le abbia raccolte, insieme le abbiamo pulite, le HANNO cucinate,e insieme mangiate. Separarci da quei posti e quella gente è stato doloroso un po per tutti!”
