“The hotel is comprised of small cottages situated in a park near the sea (double-room appartments are great), the main building with the restaurants, spa and fitness centre and a large sea water swimming pool between the main building and tennis courts. The park behind the fence and the sea are the national reserves, which means clean, fish in the sea and wild animals just on the other side of the fence. We had spa and half board included, both quite enjoyable. We used a boutique shop within the hotel (good discounts there) and the diving centre for a snorkelling trip on a boat. A good snorkelling location is about 4 miles north by car to Belvedere Porticciolo. Every nigh we watched the sunset from the restaurant -- nice! This area of the island is not overcrowded in August. It's probably the most calm and pleasant area, the effect of calmness amplified by the hotel being adults-only. Driving in this part of the island is very easy.”
