“We were only there for a night, and we arrived at the hotel late (about 12:30am) after driving through torrential rains in Ohio forced us off the highway to rely on PA backroads into NY. The room was clean, and had a separate door to the bedroom. This part was key. We could leave the light on in the bathroom and still maintain a completely blacked out bedroom: I was able to get a decent night's sleep after driving 14 hours, didn't walk into anything dangerous in the middle of the night to pee while looking for the light switch to a bathroom and didn't need to wake my wife up by turning on any overhead lights in the middle of the night. In my opinion, that makes for a danged good sleeping experience.”
