“I had been up since 3:30 am and it was evening and believe it or not the motorway was closed - so no access - due to 125 cows getting on to it. I was exhausted and irritable and phoned up to cancel but the staff member who answered, Anna Bream, was so helpful and informative (she was keeping in touch with the police), and friendly - that balance of professionalism and friendliness - that I decided to wait for the motorway to re-open, just an hour or so. Then when I arrived I was really surprised at the quality, comfort, and cleanliness of the hotel, plus the excellent welcome. I had assumed that a service area hotel at the low price I paid wouldn't be up to much but I was completely wrong. Heartily recommend!”
“Hotel is immediately off M5 northbound with parking right outside. Friendly receptionist, warm clean and quiet room on top floor. Fairly priced continental breakfast delivered to room in morning. No complaints at all, would stay again and recommend to anyone travelling north wanting a night stop.”
“Price. Ok if you like motorway facilities and the associated extra cost of food etc if you choose to use them. Clean but a little impersonal which is typical of this type of accomodation. Parking Ok buy we found that often the disabled spaces were taken by cars that did not have Blue disabled badges”
