“We have stayed at this family owned gasthaus several times over the past 28 years (we lived in Ansbach twice). While the restaurant is no longer operating for lunch or dinner, the breakfast, hotel and staff are great. Location is good for walking to center of town.”

“The staff were polite & welcoming. The room was described as a room with a view. It was on the corner of the building with commanding views of the town. It felt as if it had been decorated recently There were hot drinks available at all times. Breakfast was the best of our holiday. The croissants were delicious and the selection of breads included tasty little whole meal loaves. Everything was gleaming. The hotel garden was attractive. I wish we'd had more time to spend in it.”

“Fantastic gem. The photos do this hotel no justice. It is in a historic building located directly across the street from the palace/residence and behind the gardens. Very short and easy walk from the train station, too. My room was very lovely and had a very romantic vibe - soft lighting in the bedroom, which was separate from the little sitting area. Walking distance to all the main attractions. Friendly staff. Terrific breakfast. There is a bakery directly next door and the part of the hotel I stayed in smelled heavenly in the mornings. And above all - fantastic price.”
