“This is a well-appointed and usefully-located family run hotel that is a lot more appealing and practical than its two-star rating would imply. Very nice breakfast and breakfast-room. Good en suite. Very pleased to find it had a parking lot in the basement. Right beside the superb romanesque cathedral, the Dom-Hotel is a short walk from the Rathaus (town-hall) where the historic Treaty of Westphalia was signed on October 24, 1648 concluding the terrible Thirty Years War between the Catholic Habsburgs, and the French, and protestant powers of Germany, the Netherlands, the Swiss Confederation and Sweden.”
