“Red roulotte was exciting to stay in. Very comfortable lounge seating and bed. Very quiet and private setting in little park. As it was winter I didn’t use the swimming pool but it looked nice and the area was pretty. My pets were safe as no cars allowed. Parking was near reception and gates closed at night apparently. Hotel very close to old town of Cognac and a nice walk to get there.”

“Somewhat different from other hotels with its range of accommodations but our room with its lounge area and bathrooms exceeded expectations. The only slight disappointment was when asking if we could get two cups of tea to be presented with two paper cups and tea bags. There looked to be a smart dining area through the bar but not surprisingly out of season it wasn’t open.”

“I was expecting more from Cognac! The hotel though was OK. 10 minutes walk into town and right across the road from one of the Cognac distilleries. Right on the river for lovely walks. Breakfast was good. Secure parking for motorcycles. Pretty good hotel for the price. Did I mention we had a balcony?”

“Ideally located on a riverside setting only 3 mins walk across the bridge into the main town and access to the Cognac tours and several restaurants Rooms were mini chalets with basic provision but clean, comfortable, quiet and all you need It has a great bar located on the riverside serving snacks and occasionally providing contemporary live music entertainment to suit all A great place to stay for a short or lounger stop over in Cognac”

“Fantastic location: jetty onto the river, 30 yds from a great patisserie, 2 minutes walk to L'Atelier French restaurant, 5 minutes walk to La Scala Italian restaurant, both by the Charente. Spacious room, huge balcony, Nespresso machine, great aircon, extremely friendly and helpful staff.”
