“We went up to Edinburgh to see the new Queensferry crossing and I chose this hotel as it had great views from the windows in the rooms of the bridge , and wow it didn't disappoint, you have to pay a little extra for the view but it was really worth it, the rooms had a great modern feel in a moody grey colour very hotel chic. The shore restaurant and bar are joined to the hotel and do a very mean steak at a reasonable price, drinks weren't to bad either a gin and tonic no more than £5, But the best thing (apart from the bridge that is) was the staff, my goodness how friendly! its makes all the difference I feel to deal with lovely helpful people. Would love to visit again in the future.”
“The staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was clean and functional.”
“With just being renovated and the excellent restaurant with views to the new bridge then all in all it now, since updated offers an excellent option”
“Everything - the food was good, the location was perfect for our stay, the rooms large and comfortable but the staff were the real asset to the hotel - professional, friendly, chatty, helpful. Will definitely be back. For glasses wearers the alarm clock beside the bed had numbers large enough on it to read without scrambling about looking for yours glasses.”
“Staff were friendly, personal and couldn't have helped more with our questions on the local area. Facilities and room were first class, finish in room were high quality. Signposting to hotel was good even with road closures + works, would recommend using google maps rather than apple maps.”
“Friendly staff, lovely well serviced rooms, & great food!!”
“Great breakfast - normally breakfasts in UK are rather poor but this one was superb. really nice rooms and huuuuge bed! Nice staff.- wonderful views”
“Difficult to find fault with any aspect of the Hotel/facilities or staff”
“The room was a good size for me and my son and the food in the restaurant was lovely. Staff were very helpful and always smiling.”
“The staff we’re amazing, so helpful especially Jamie at front of house, he gave me step by step instructions to the hotel as I managed to get myself lost a few minutes away and was panicking. The hotel was STUNNING, I stayed here years ago when it was under a different owner and couldn’t believe its transformation. The staff couldn’t do enough for my son or I. I used this hotel as a stop off prior to catching my earlier flight but because it was such a stunning enjoyable and affordable staff, I will definitely visit again next year and spend more time in the hotel.”
