“More of a motel (but a very posh one) than a hotel. Several pools so it was easy to find a quiet area. Our room, despite being one of the cheaper ones, was large with an excellent bed and facilities. Food was competitively priced as were drinks.”
“The rooms and bathrooms with floor heating. Wonderful. Rooms are small but for single occupation is not a problem. Parking is safe. Terrace is beautiful. Garden too.”
“Frankly, everything! We are already looking forward to another visit to this hotel.”
“What a beautiful place, the rooms, the location, the garden, all perfect. Helpful and professional staff. We received an upgrade (thank you) as we only stayed for one night. We had dinner in the restaurant, food was good, service was good (service with a smile) breakfast outside in the garden, sun, a huge variety of cheeses (!) Would strongly recommend this accommodation when visiting Graaff-Reinet”
“Lovely hotel with beautiful fixtures! Staff were either very friendly or hurried!”
“We will definitely return. Great staff. A lot of respect for the Rupert family who go to great lengths to keep our heritage safe. Great job by Stephen Falcke. Perfect setting.”
“Charming Hotel in the city of Graaff-Reinet. Outstanding breakfast, which is a combination of buffet style and choice from a menu. We loved also the restaurant for dinner. Historic and beautiful houses, where the rooms are located. Nice pool. We will come back.”
“The service provided by the staff is first class. Stunning restaurant with dinning area with lovely ambience. Comfortable beds are available and bathrooms are modern and stylish.”
“We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Bed was lovely and comfortable. The entire property was clean and tidy. Management was excellent and staff pleasant, courteous, and helpful. Meal times were a pleasure and the quality of food was excellent.”
“The room was very comfortable, the food at the restaurant (we ate there on both nights) was excellent, and the service was outstanding. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back again.”
