Important Notice
- Please note this property cannot charge credit cards in US dollars, only in Peruvian Soles. For this reason, the property cannot be held responsible for your bank's exchange rates at the moment of charge. Additionally, guests paying by credit card will be charged an additional fee of 5% or 7%, depending on the credit card type.<br><br>Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.<br>Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.<br>Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. “We were able to have breakfast on the day we arrived (for extra cost) which was convenient. Breakfast was really nice with good coffee fresh fruit and bread plus an extra eg eggs/fried bread. Some of the staff were nice and helpful (others not so much - see negative). Internet connection was good and there seemed to be more of a communal feel among the longer staying guests.”
“Eco Lodge is located a little way out of the main part of Mancora so is a lot quieter than some of the places in town. Reception is staffed 24 hours and feels very secure. The staff are all very helpful, most speak a combination of languages and are always ready with advice for food or activities. Breakfast was great. Fresh fruit, coffe/tea, juice, homemade breads and generally an addition of eggs or something else. The room we had was fantastic. Huge bed (with mozzie net), great shower and A/C. Very nice to be able to just relax either before or after the beach/pool.”
“This Eco lodge was my favorite part of our stay in Mancora. It is absolutely beautiful with a genius use of space. The room is very earthy and clean and the bathroom is also very nice. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast that just kept coming! We really liked their system of marking next to your name if you've taken a bottle of wine or beers. It definitely feels more like a community inside the lodge rather than just some place that you are staying. We also had the best massage of our lives, the women were extremely talented. I also liked the mosquito repellent incense that they left us.”
