“The hotel was impressive, you could see the amount of renovation completed to this lovely old building, our room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was stunning, we had a fridge, tea/coffee making, safe, iron / board, massive TV. Everything exceptionally clean. The receptionist was very helpful with directions and I had to make a last minute change to our booking, nothing was a problem. Ali explained the overall plan for the hotel, what had been done and what will be done, we enjoyed our visit to see our eldest Granddaughter at University, she is there for four years, so there will be many more visits to this hotel.”

“Nicely renovated stone-built hotel comprising a couple of houses knocked together. Room was in basement and decorated to a high standard with generous shower room. Staff were friendly and efficient and obviously took pride in the hotel.”
“The Edgerton Guest House I am pleased to comment simply "does what it says on the tin". No its not 5* luxury but it does not pretend to be so. The staff are exemplary and a credit to the owners. If you "Do not wished to be disturbed" then you are not. All guests seem to be treated as individuals not as "sheep" which is really refreshing. If you request an extra loo roll or some sugar sachets or a service wash and dry that's what you get. The Guest House is Safe, warm, clean, and to be honest has a certain rare charm. "Old fashioned" perhaps but I loved it. Very comfy bed, exceptional hot and powerful shower, large wide screen TV with full Freeview package. Hard to find better VFM I would suggest. Will definitely re book "Home from Home" for me. Well done all at the Edgerton.”
