“The place was new and very nice and clean. The location was great - walking distance to the square but far enough that it was mellow and quiet. We stayed before and after our trek in Torres del Paine and the hotel kept a bag for us while we were gone.”

“El Muelle is very nicely renovated with lovely wood floors and a nautical theme. Both our rooms had a view of the water, and the windows had good shades to keep out the early morning light. The beds were comfortable and the baths had good water pressure and hot water. The breakfasts included meat and cheeses, cereal, sweets, and all the coffee you wanted. We liked having a 24 hour desk with English-speaking staff. We checked in after 10:30 pm and got a wonderful recommendation for a restaurant (El Bote) where we ate the next 2 nights, too. We were on the second floor, so be prepared to take your luggage upstairs. The staff carried one of our bags up for us, which was very helpful. The wi-fi worked well in our room nearest the front desk, but the room farther away didn't get a very good signal so our traveling companion needed to be in the lobby to use the wi-fi.”

“The breakfast was reasonable, plenty of options, cereal, toast, cold cuts, fruit etc. The bed was comfortable and the general fit out of the room was fine. The bathroom was the highlight with modern fittings and an absolutely awesome shower! Location was good, a short stroll to the waterfront and 10 min walk to a variety of cafes and restaurants. The view from the ground floor was nice and would be awesome from upstairs.”

“Great, modern hostel. You get a very modern and renovated room. The shower was spa-like with a tall rainshower head and plenty of hot water, perfect after our week long trek. The breakfast was very well presented and had plenty of bread, pastries, meats and cheese, and cereals. Friendly staff with adequate english-speaking abilities. Very comfortable bed.”
