I’m a backing vocalist with Floyd in the Flesh - a Pink Floyd Covers band. If traveling by car the hotel is conveniently, only minutes away from the theatre. “Family were staying elsewhere and we were joining them for lunch. Staff at the Eliot Hotel responded to my email and agreed to us parking our car on-site prior to check in time which was very convenient. In the event, our room was ready and we were able to drop off our bags which was even better. Our room was quite spacious with a double bed plus a single for our 18 year old daughter and an en suite shower and toilet. All clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. Good, plentiful breakfast with lots of choice. Short walk to the town with all it has to offer had we wanted. We took a taxi to and fro our family's accommodation. Weather was bad (storm Brian) but our room was warm and cosy.”

“Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. We got a good price and didn't have high expectations given that it appeared to be a typical, old-ish British seaside hotel and having read other reviews. We were pleasantly surprised that our room and bathroom were unexpectedly large, comfortable and apparently clean. We stayed 2 nights and used the place as a base to visit other towns, so only had breakfast in the restaurant, which is large with quite a few staff; all were helpful and friendly. Parking on site was easy.”

“The Hotel is a little out the way but near enough to the shops beaches and bars to walk easily, hotel rooms are a little dated but was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfy and the shower was very powerful, over all we enjoyed our stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly”
