“I checked in super like, like 1:30 AM late and the lady I checked in with was so kind. She was very nice and told me of a few places to checkout near by. Check in was a breeze... Location was wonderful, the beach was literally a block away.... The view from the food was wonderful too, beds some renovation but other than that it was amazing”

“I really liked how much character the building had, you can feel the history behind it. The view of the ocean was amazing from our room. The room itself exceeding our expectations. King sized bed with the most incredibly soft sheets, full kitchen and seperate living room area that had a bed you could pull out for guest from a beautiful oak shelf. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, especially Timothy, he took his time in telling us about the building history and future plans. Also didn’t mind answering any questions we had for food recommendations or store locations. Booking here was a great call and I left with a full heart, was actually a bit sad to leave, but I’ll definitely be back again!”

“Staff were always friendly and helpful regarding any enquiries. Loved the historical feel of the hotel, and it was so comfortable. In the process of being renovated, however this was not a disruption but attending to the updating of individual areas of the property. Great free wifi, free weekend night entertainment was fantastic, and always had breakfast offered in foyer. Loved pin codes on door instead of key, made it easy for us not to have to coordinate keys to get in. Awesome so close to beach, and cafe on beach corner gave discount on breakfast to our hotel. Tim was always welcoming and available to help with any room enquiries, ensuring invitations to entertainment with drinks and snacks, and was great sharing his in depth knowledge of the hotel history and of the area. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and unique stay at Venice Beach!”

“The hotel is an old building, rooms are original but renovated. The 2nd bed is trundle bed that rolls under the bathroom, which is three steps up. Very funky but cool. Everything in the bathroom and the full kitchen is brand new. Great memoryfoam bed. On the 5th floor you can see above all the surrounding buildings.”
