“The staff were just fabulous! We arrived after a very stressful few hours driving in heavy mist from Punta Norte, and were warmly greeted. There were only two of us on our tour the next day to see the elephant seals and it was wonderful. We got really close to them- much more so than Caleta Valdez. The reality is that most of the beach on the Valdez Peninsula is privately owned so if you want to see wildlife then you have to stay with the beach owners. We spend the previous night at Eslancia Ernestina in the hope of seeing Orcas, and this was nearly free by comparison!”
“Come to this place for the setting. Wander along the cliff tops and view the elephant seals, the guide (included) will take you down to the beach to see them close up. Bring a bottle of wine, sit on the cliff top in the evening and watch the sunset.”
