Access to the chair lift for skiing was a 30 second ski away.”

“Beautiful breakfast room with great choice of food, especially a great varieties of breads & jams. I love the crispy crossiant and flavorful olive bread. Lovely balcony. Very comfortable room, warm and clean. Great bathtub and shower. Owner and family are very friendly and hospitable. Daughter of owner can speak good English and is very helpful. Will stay again if possible. Very close to the cable car station from Betten Talstation. Just go outside the cable station and turn left, then uphill ( a slope).”

“Bettmeralp is a no car village reached by a cableway. The hotel is very close to the cableway, just to the left as you disembark. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is old school charming, lots of woodwork, extremely clean and comfortable. We loved our room, spacious with a great balcony, flowers and the most amazing view of the Alps. If you need to get away and recharge, this is the place to do it. We bought the regional day ticket for Eggishorn, Bettmerhorn and Riederalp, which provide great views of the Aletsch Glacier, surrounding Alps and the valley. Also, Bettmeralp is a very family friendly area with a tricked out play area at the far end of the village. Although it was very suitable for all ages.”

“I loved everything about my stay. The location was lovely; it is close to everything you need, but not in the centre of the village and so it is very quiet. The staff are wonderfully welcoming, very friendly and helpful, and make a special effort to make guests feel at home. The breakfast is lovely, and I enjoyed dining at the restaurant for another meal. Their attention to using as many local and organic foods is noticeable. The hotel is superb value for money. I will return.”

“The location in Bettmeralp is simply the best. Great views over town from our top floor balcony room. Staff (family run hotel) are the friendliest, nicest people, so helpful! The restaurant serves great meals, just like home cooking but with great style. The room we had (twin, top floor with separate sitting area) was perfect: clean, access by lift, warm, traditional but with every modern convenience. We travelled in Europe for a month, and this hotel and its staff were the best we encountered. We would love to stay here again.”
