“I'm actually sitting in my hotel room here at Ficoa Real now. This is my second stay here. The WiFi is exceptional. This is one of the few hotels in Ecuador where I am confident I can conduct my Skype VOIP meetings without worry. It makes combining end of week work with weekend adventure in nearby Banos stress-free. Besides the WiFi (about 15 down and 12 up) the staff is excellent. Very attentive, accommodating and friendly. The rooms are cleaned to a higher standard than most 4 start hotels in the USA and Europe. The beds are very comfortable and not too small. Not too soft and not too hard. The area is very good and many restaurants and stores can be walked to easily from the hotel. Oh and I really appreciate that house kepping doesn't disturb me while I work all day. They patiently wait for me to finish my meetings before even asking to clean the room. I won't stay at any other hotel in Ambato because this is by far the best in the city.”
“Very nice family operated hotel. Great location within easy walking distance of city center, Supermaxi and historical sites downtown. Taxi to Mall de Los Andes is $2 and 5 min ride. My room was very large and clean. Looked brand new, hardwood floor, very comfortable king bed. Bathroom had a large bathtub. Good wifi in my room. Owners were very friendly and helpful with directions. Breakfast was normal fare and included with room price. Outstanding service. I will return when in Ambato. Highly recommend.”
“It's a new building; the facilities and accommodation are great. Staff was very helpful. Had a suite on the second floor, it was very spacious, the bathroom had a tub with a built in jacuzzi system.”
