“A nice unusually laid out small hotel directly onto the beach. Only 20 minutes walk into the main sights of Rethimno. A very good breakfast and very friendly staff. A main road runs along the back of the hotel but the double insulated doors keep the noise out.”
“Great reception in this small family run Hotel. Unfortunately it was windy and overcast so we didn't get to sit on the deck for bfast which would have been awesome. Clean room, great breakfast and pleasant staff ... what more could you ask for.”
“Good location, excellent breakfast, sea-view rooms, wonderful host/ hotel manager. Very close to old town. Free private parking, private beach, swimming pool. Breakfast on the terrace, Everything is good. You will feel like home.”
“The hotel is situated on the beach so every morning you have breakfast with sea view, the rooms have sea view, too. The hosts are very nice and hospitable people. Every morning Eva cooked home-made breakfast based on Greek traditional food and her dog Hector always met us before breakfast so he was a cutie part of home atmosphere. Eva is also a designer so don’t miss a chance to get sandals decorated by her. It took us 15 minutes walk to get the Old city, but if you are super-hungry there are several good tavernas right near the hotel (Galera taverna is recommended).”
“Good staff. Comfortable room. Ocean view. Good breakfast”
“Friendly staff. Beach out front of hotel. Pool excellent. Breakfast v.good. Best seafood restaurant in Greece just up the road. Joyce of restaurants easy walk. Car not needed.”
“This hotel is in an absolutely stunning setting right on the sea. You go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore...or crashing depending on how windy it is!There is plenty of seating on separate levels down to the beach and also sunloungers on a level directly above the sand which we were pretty much always able to get a spot on every day. On top of this the hotel supplies beach towels.Breakfast was plentiful with many many different options. Eva also had a daily sweet option which I took full advantage of as 'breakfast dessert' much to the dismay of my waistline haha! We also ate lunch in the hotel a couple of times which was also incredibly substantial! A word of warning...the bruschetta will easily feed two!Eva, her dapper dog Hector and the staff are absolutely brilliant and so welcoming. We felt we were staying with friends! Such a relaxing place.Be sure to eat at the 7 Thalasses restaurant a few doors up the road. Food was AMAZING!”
“Being able to hear the sea as we lay in bed at night. The large patio for breakfast.”
“It was a very warm welcome. This familymanaged hotel is really lovely and provides everything you need to relax. The traditional greek breakfast was very good. It is a bit outside the city (which has the advantage that its very calm there), but you can walk in the center in about 20 minutes.”
“Great location, family owned and great people with understanding of our needs and my son loves Eva. Peter”
