“The room is spacious and the view is gorgeous. Great weather on the days I visited so Mt Fuji view was awesome. The garden grounds are beautiful, bursting with autumn colours. I did not try the onsen so cannot comment. The check out time at 11 a.m., is more friendly than the 10 a.m. check out time in a lot of places I stayed at before. Hotel has transfers from Kawaguchigo bus station.”

“I read positive and negative reviews about this hotel. Good thing that I decided to stick with this hotel. The room that my friends and I had was clean, bathroom was clean but I had to request for extra towels since we were 3 in the room; and the bed sheets were clean The tea provided was good too and 3 water bottle were provided for us. The lake view in our room was okay. The staff were very helpful; the hotel's shuttle was very convenient. Lastly, breakfast was excellent with the full view of Mount Fuji.”
“This hotel is classy, understated and very comfortable with a great view of Mt Fuji. We loved walking around Lake Kawaguchiko and our main purpose was relaxation & to see Mt Fuji. There were 'real' restaurants nearby run by real families in a casual environment.”
“Beautiful garden and lake kawaguchiko just behind the hotel. Free shuttle bus from station. Love the room - spacious, comfortable and i like the little couch area. Lovely tea sets to enjoy your welcome sweets. Yukata and free water provided. Good Japanese selection for breakfast. Serene and peaceful, like a little retreat being away from the city)”

“The hotel was fantastic. . We were upgraded to the best room for our anniversary ! Very nice gift! The restaurants we very nice! Dinner and the breakfast buffet were fantastic! One of the best breakfast buffet I have been too! The onsen was very relaxing !”
“Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens and close to lake. Good sized rooms with comfortable beds. Staff helpful. Hotel itself has limited and expensive options for eating and it is quite a distance from town facilities, so if you have no car, there are only a few local places to walk to. We found a great traditional place only 500 m away for evening meal. Views are fantastic from hotel, need to book a Fuji view room for best views.”
