“The hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money and really great food. You will not be disappointed with the breakfast here! The staff was always friendly and service minded. We had the Mt. Everest room on the top floor with huge windows and private balcony looking out into the valley. With a bit of luck, we got to see some mountains behind the clouds!”
“The food! Most generous, delicious breakfast we had in Nepal. Plenty of fresh fruit, good pancake, good muesli, etc. For dinner, they serve delicious local and Indian dishes. Welcoming and professional staff. Very sweet of them to help celebrate my husband's birthday with fresh chocolate pudding. Comfortable bed and linens. The staff brought us a floor fan, which helped with the heat.”

“Gaia Holiday Home s a simple but extremely comfortable Nepalese hotel overlooking rice fields and the Himalayas. The staff is wonderful, very accommodating and friendly, and the place is run by top manager Shiva, who has international hotel experience and speaks a very good English. The hot shower is great, the rooms incredibly clean, and the beds very comfortable. Location is peaceful and much nicer than staying in the city. We had the most beautiful views over he Himalayas as we had breakfast every day on the terrace and we strongly recommend the food. It was top quality and very generous portions. Everyone at Gaia made an effort to make us feel at home. Thank you!”
