“We were very pleased with the accommodations at the Garrison Inn. This boutique hotel featured a combination of rich historical character with modern amenities and comfort. Our Grand Park View room was very quiet and spacious. The staff was very attentive and helpful both at the front desk and in the dining area where we enjoyed a yummy made-to-order breakfast! The tea cup collection in the lobby is also a nice touch. The hotel itself is within walking distance of the main shops and restaurants that Newburyport has to offer. Hope to make it back again soon!”

“Very well-located, at the town centre and close to harbourside but a quiet location at night. Clean, with excellent bespoke breakfast included, large room with comfortable bed. Charming building externally and in public areas. Free private parking immediately to rear. Staff welcoming and helpful. Free tea/biscuits/artisan chocolates served late afternoon and evening in the lounge.”

“The cooked to order breakfast was amazing, great menu, juices, coffee, all served on fine china. loved the old "reservations" on the walls in the room from the 1920's. the shower was fantastic. the look and feel was 1800's but the comfort was 2010's. we'll stay here again. loved it A+++ had dinner at the Mission Oak grill next door, steak was a great and baked mac and cheese was to die for.”
