“Charming, small hotel. Rooms are themed (butterflies, crowns, flowers ...). Due to size, no onsite fitness facilities -- however hotel is member of CLUB plus -- which means guests can use first class fitness center a mere 5 mins away (by foot). There is also a long list of other items (museums, swimming pools etc) included in CLUB plus; my favorite was the free entry into the local salt spa. Hotel is perfect for a long weekend (tourists or just to relax).-- on E. edge of Black Forest -- Freiburg, Triberg easily reached; Lake Constance to the S and Hohenzollen Castle to the NE.”
“Great little Hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and reserved me a table in their restaurant eventhough I told them I wasn't sure whether I would have dinner. The rooms are very clean and done to a great standard, very nice bathrooms and a balcony. The dinner in the restaurant was exceptional and the service outstanding. I can thoroughly recommend staying here.”
“I didn´t like anything. First of all, Booking.com shouldn´t consider to promote hotels that are not opened 24 hours. I travelled from Brazil to Munich by plane and then I rent a car to drive 300km. However, it was raining and snowing. So, my trip took more time than we had predicted. When I got this hotel, it was closed and the temperature was zero degree. Without any another option in that city, I had to park my car and sleep inside the frozen car. Each our I had to turn on the engine to warm the interior of the car. RIDICULOUS!!! At 6:30, the hotel opened the doors and I was suprised by a lady at the lobby that couldn´t speak English. Although I tried to tell her that I had a reservation, she didn´t understand and I had to pay again. And pay for what? Pay for a shower, since I had to leave the hotel at 8am for a meeting in that city. Finally, the lady tried to charge me for the Wi-Fi which was advertised by Booking.com as free of charge. Again: RIDICULOUS!!!”
