“From the minute we arrived the staff were amazing, so helpful. Full briefing from RD on everything at the property and the island, from places to eat, shop and dive. Rooms cleaned beautifully. Free tea, coffee and water all day. Wonderful swimming pool and surrounds, own patios with chars and bean bags. Outdoor bathrooms, spacious rooms. So chilled and relaxing. A quiet area upstairs to chill and read. The owners were lovely, nothing too much trouble. Island life was so laid back starting with this oasis. Many thanks to you all, we had a wonderful time. The provision of a map of the island on arrival was greatly appreciated and well used for the duration of our stay. Wir was also very helpful, even attempting to teach me his Lombok lingo! I was very impressed with the island's dedication to the environment.”
“it is located in the middle of the island so it gives you peace and tranquility. A bit far to walk off at first but we got used to it later on. The island isn't that big anyway. I love the service and cleanliness of this place! It is still quite new so everything looks good! The breakfast is delicious too.”

“We loved everything about it. The staff was super friendly and welcomed us with a cold juice, wet towels and some information about the island. Our room was spacious, bright and clean. The outdoor bathroom was super nice as well. The bungalows are surrounding a pool which was a nice change if you didn't want to go to the beach. There is a choice of breakfasts in the morning and free coffee and tea (as well as water) all day. Would def. come back here!! ”
“We got a welcome drink and a wet towel at arrival which was very nice. The owner than told us about the property, the island and gave us restaurant recommendations. She knows everything about the island and the local fauna and flora. Gili Matiki is a quiet place in the middle of the island with only little walking distances to the beaches and restaurants. It has a nice swimming pool and bikes to rent for 50.000IDR per day (also snorkeling gear can be rented there). A snorkeling trip was organized for us which was great! The staff was very helpfull too as they organized the transfer to lombok airport for us. All in all we had a great and relaxing time!!”
