“This hotel definitely lived up to its name. The rooms were very nice and clean. The bathroom has a tub and a full-sized shower (not as common as it sounds in Italy). The view of the Dolomite Mountains out my window was great. The breakfast is tasty and the coffee is made to order, not out of an automatic machine. I stayed in 7 different hotels on my trip, and this was the best. Incredible value for the money. All of my future stays in Trento will be at the Grand.”

“This hotel is a stable on my travels to Italy. Situated in a beautiful and historically significant city where university students add to the lively air of generations living life to their fullest, it has an old world charm maintained carefully and dilligently. The spacious common areas in the bar and the restaurant - not to mention the impressive hall. The front desk is always helpful and welcoming and the rooms never let us down. The can vary in size and view from the room, but never in the quality of the interior. The internet could do with an upgrade for speed, which I think is taking place at the moment. Breakfast is always a delight and should you come late or don't feel like going out to the many high qulity restaurants nearby, the restaurant is splendid. Don't forget to sample the local teroldego reds and bubbly Trento spumantes.”

The rooms were nice with comfortable beds and nice updated bathroom/shower amenities. Motorcycle friendly, free garage parking! Walking distance (3-5) minutes from the town center.”
