“I only had a few interactions with the staff, but they were all very friendly and helpful. I did not see too many homeless people in front of the hotel, at least not compared to other areas nearby. There always seemed to be 2 or 3 doormen working at the same time, which helped make me feel safe as a single woman coming in and out of the hotel. They offer a lot of complimentary items such as toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shower cap, etc. though you have to call down for many of them to be delivered. The only items I found stocked in my room from the start were shampoo/conditioner/lotion/shower gel. The location of the hotel is probably the biggest positive. It's within a reasonable walking distance of many of the sites I wanted to see. The Starbucks right across the street is nice, though always busy-- be prepared to wait ~30 minutes for your drink in the morning.”
