“The Grand Hotel Zvon was simply brilliant. Clearly this hotel has a long and great history dating back to the days of the "Grand Tour". With fresh modern decoration, very large rooms, smart bathrooms... Everything felt right, smart, effortless and classy. Maybe we booked out of season (September), but the price was astoundingly cheap! We cannot recommend this hotel enough, the best we had on our tour. This was our first time in the Czech Republic and we were a little concerned about language, no problem! Excellent English was spoken by the staff. Located on the main square, in the middle of the historic heart of Ceske Budejovice, I cannot see how the hotel could be better. We were touring on a road trip, so booked parking. The car parking was entirely secure, attended and located on upper floors, which accessed via a car lift.”
