“It was very clean and tidy. The room was welcoming and cosy”
“Right next door to Central train station. Complementary cakes at reception. Room smart. Good value for money.”
“Freebies ie cupcakes, ice cream, bottled water. Lovely comfy bed”
“Was a little unsure when outside the building, but once on 6th floor, really nice.”
“Great place to stay, very friendly staff and excellent location!”
“The rooms were really quiet even though the hotel is in a really busy area. The location is great.”
“The free cakes and ice cream are such a nice touch!”
“A small, comfortable hotel in the centre of Glasgow in converted Victorian offices which were originally built for the Caledonian Railway in the 1900's. The room I stayed in had a high combed ceiling with both air conditioning and an oil filled radiator (essential in November given the age of the building) and a very cosy bed with real feather pillows and duvet. The staff were extremely friendly and I was instantly made to feel at home on arrival. I would recommend this hotel particularly for solo travellers as the single room accommodation is pretty affordable given its location directly above Central Station. Perfect for access to the SECC.”
“The hotel was lovely, very central. Comfy bed, great shower and the staff were so friendly and efficient.”
“It is a lovely and quiet hotel situated on the top floor just above Central station. The room faced the enormous glass roof and despite being on top of the station it was quiet. The windows are openable so fresh air all night and very comfortable bed.”
