“The Hotel is really nice. One of the best i have been into in china. The facilities are clean and very well made. The bed is comfortable and so is the bathroom. The staff is really friendly and the gives you such a warm atmosphere. You are not in a Hotel, you are more in a family owned house where you feel the privacy. The location is perfect for bars and restaurants. Also the breakfast they are offering is very very perfect! They are taking care of all your wishes and the you can taste, that someone made a personal breakfast for you to make you happy. This hotel i can 200% reccomend, as long as you don't expect a 5 Star temple and can enjoy private luxury, even so there is no marble on the floor. Really a great place.”
“An old family house has been converted to a boutique hotel. The hotel has only 6 rooms. The rooms are authentic, yet modern. The bed was confortable. If you want to experience how Chinese people lived in the XIX century, this is the perfect place to stay.”
“The character of the building and it’s position. The staff were wonderful, kind and extremely helpful.”
“Great location! In city center, perfect for touring. Really helpful staff! Beautiful room! Tastefully decorated.”
“Very charming boutique hotel in a beautiful building. The inside cafe servesvety good drinks and food, excellent local style breakfast. We had the small room with 2 beds and only 1 little window, nothing special but still a very good overall experience. Staff was very friendly and helpfull”
“Just love staying at this authentic place. This hundred year old building is beautifully restored, full of unique and original Hui architectural features. We were so lucky to own the room with private courtyard for the very memorable 2 nights. We will be back looking forward to the owners showing us some other beautiful and quiet places near Tunxi”
“Very nicely designed place. An old building converted to modern comfort in an attractive way. Staff was very helpful in getting luggage to and from as the historic area doesn't allow cars. Great area to walk around.”
“Staff tried to be helpful as much as could be - although they could not speak English, they used translation application to assist us in every step”
“Very charming hotel, with authentic local flair. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was generous and offered an interesting culinary experience of local delicacies. The hotel itself is located in a central area with lots of restaurants nearby, and a 15 min walk to the touristy Tunxi old street. To get there from the airport we took a local bus from the airport followed by a short taxi. Highly recommend printing off the hotel's address in Chinese (not just the hotel name) as it's located in a pedestrian area and tricky for taxi drivers to locate. The room was very comfortable, though there are thin walls so you need to be considerate of other guests at night. Would highly recommend!”
“- Staff were wonderful people! - Loved the old streets around the area. Definitely worth staying around here. - Traditional, beautiful architecture. Very well maintained for such an old building! - Heated beds. - Hot shower.”
