“Staff were excellent. Our best nights sleep in the bed. Out of our whole week, we saw the aurora out of the window during the night. Room comes with a small kitchenette, large walk in shower/bathroom, dining area and plenty of storage space. Food was fantastic if not a little expensive (however worth every penny), my boyfriend loved the eggs and I made fresh waffles. Also had access to gym and pool however we didn't use it.”
“The hotel is part of a university campus, the room was large but slightly unclean. Location is very good and very good breakfast. We were lucky to see an incredible northern light display which made our stay.”
“The property is in a beautiful area with hiking trails, close to a lake and even a golf course. I could not imagine playing golf out there as it was a very windy cold wet day. So unfortunately I could also not do any of the hiking. Hotel is right along the main road. No noise and quiet large rooms. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and many choices.”
“Unique hotel that shares space with a University. Room was VERY large - may have been a past dorm room? Little kitchen area, large bathroom, big sleeping area. Typical Icelandic breakfast included. Elevator available. Ample parking. Volcanic craters and waterfalls nearby for activities. Great jump off point for Snaefellsness Peninsula.”

“The rooms were very large. This was one of the few triple rooms we found in the area, which is why we booked it. There is a restaurant on site that serves burgers and pizza, and a shopette with limited hours, but not really much else in the area. We had the one hot tub to ourselves.”
“- Spacious twin room with fridge & kettle, can open two big suitcases in the room while still having much space to move around - Spacious shower room and toilet and abundant cupboards to put things - Good breakfast included and the dining hall have many seats - Elevator available to access rooms - Very close to Grabrok Volcano (just 3mins drive); can go for a hike and back to hotel for shower”
