“A charming little hotel, right on the water's edge, with utterly delightful staff. Arriving off the overnight ferry on foot shortly after 0900, it was great that one of our rooms was already available for dumping luggage and having a quick wash and brush up. It is not luxurious, although clean and attractive, and having asked for single rooms, they certainly were quite tight sizewise, although fine for one person. My son's room was at the top of 4 flights of very steep stairs - although there is a lift. Breakfast was fine - we were last in and there was still a reasonable, if not enormous, selection. The reception staff advised on which restaurants were open, and booked us taxis - nothing was too much trouble for them.”
