“Friendly staff and a warm welcome. Car parking can be had in front of the hotel on the large public car park which I think is free between 6pm and 9am. Outside those hours charges apply. Pick up a ticket on you way in and pay, if payment is needed, before departure. You can avoid fees by parking in free parking which is dotted about the town. To easily access the hotel and car park follow signs for the D Day museum. Our room was clean and functional, probably in need of an update. Views from our room were excellent looking out to sea. We ate in the hotel restaurant, choosing, if I remember correctly the 38 euro option. The food was very good as were the red and white house wines of the month. Staff were friendly and attentive and the vistas out over the remnants of the Mulberry harbour are terrific. This hotel is a good base for visits to the D Day beaches and museums and of course all the other things Normandy has to offer”
