“Very nice hotel in an old but well maintained building where the owner put a lot of attention to details.”
“The room was a little small but it had everything that we needed. The bed was extra comfy and warm, which was a bonus in a freezing cold December. The reception staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English and didn’t laugh at our attempt to speak French! We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as €12 euros was a little steep when there is an award winning boulangerie opposite the hotel. (We went every morning). There is also a grocery store,McDonald’s and Burger King directly adjacent. There are a few restaurants but as a vegetarian, I struggled to find anything on the menu to cater for me. Location was right next to the metro, taking about 25mins to get to the centre of Paris.”

“Typical old Paris building operating as a small hotel; it also has a (extremely narrow) lift! The hotel is very well looked after, and very environmentally conscious. They care for the guests, asking preferences via email before arrival and providing much information in a printed guide in the room, which goes far beyond a typical Paris tourist guide. The mattress, pillows and linen were excellent and provided for a relaxing sleep. The location is ideal, in a neighborhood away from tourist attractions but very well connected via public transport (metro, tram and bus stops are right outside the hotel). Right opposite there is the famous Vandermeersch bakery!”

The closet area large. The neighborhood was out of the touristics routes, more of residential, of local routine, which was very good in more than one way, with lots of restaurants and daily Paris life.”
