“In een woord rust. Riant ruim huis met maar liefst vier grote slaapkamers met aparte badkamers. Wifi overal. Kortom volop ruimte en dat allemaal bij een boerderij die nog volop draait met koeien, schapen en ganzen; en een leuke border collie. Echt heel agrarisch. De boer komt regelmatig langs voor de dieren en bracht ons ook nog een heerlijke zelfgemaakte aardappeltaart. Goed mee te communiceren met beetje Engels. Mooie fietstochten te maken. Afstand tot de bewoonde wereld is er zeker. Het dorpje Vereaux is verstild, maar het dichtblij gelegen Sancoin (6 km) heeft een levendige markt op woensdag en supermarkten. Leuk tochtjes maken naar Bourges (prachtige stad) of Sancere, Chateau Tracy, Nevers en het middeleeuwse stadje Apremont sur Alier.”
