“According to the local prices, I think that the price-value ratio is not very good for this place. The hotel is at good location, with a great view, but the rooms are quite small and normally equipped. You can find a similar accomodation much cheaper.”
“Haghpat Hotel is situated at a great location, opposite the Haghpat monastery. From the hotel terrace you have a great view of the monastery, which is only 30m away. After the buses with tourists are gone, you have the place for yourself. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, and also the traditional Armenian food at the hotel is really nice. The room is fine, the shower ok. Good place for an enjoyable stay.”

“Haghpat Hotel is next to a monastery. Sitting in the evening or in the morning at breakfast you can admire this beautiful monument for which most tourists visit this place. We arrived late and the kitchen was already closed. But the owner, Mrs. Flora, has prepared a wonderful meal for us. Later we spent the evening together, talking in a warm atmosphere of culture and history. Mrs. Flora has given us a lot of information because she has been a history teacher for many years and she really has a great deal of knowledge on this subject. A visit to Haghpat Hotel has become a wonderful and unforgettable experience for us. Comfortable, clean and tidy en suite rooms, great location, and a great, sincere and cordial atmosphere of this place. Thank you very much and we would like to come back here again.”
“A lovely place to stay with great hospitality. We were treated to coffee and fruits on arrival overlooking the monastery. We chose to have dinner there which absolutely delicious with many different dishes. The owner couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.”
“We were treated like royalty. It is a small hotel with 4 very comfortable double rooms. The hotel is directly in front of the beautiful monastery, which is always open. The meals are cheap and AMAZING. Free afternoon coffee with biscuits, watermelon and melon was amazing too. Total peace and quiet at night.”
